Hierbij informeren wij u dat de Nederlandse ambassade in Beijing op 26 juni een brief heeft ontvangen met daarin de volgende mededeling.

We understood that the Netherlands could export flowers and bulbs to China. To prevent pest introduction, guarantee the flowers and bulbs trade smoothly from the NLs to China, according to article 17 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Animal and Plant Quarantine Law of the People's Republic of China, GACC would like to conduct the registration for the production and processing manufactures of flowers and bulbs. Please ask the Dutch competent authority supervising the manufactures to enhance the pest control for the original and submit the production and processing manufactures list which approved by the Dutch competent authority to us. The list should including company name, address, exporting products type. In the future, based on the trade status and the wish of the manufactures, the Dutch side can submit the list update application to GACC in any time. 

Currently, COVID-19 occurred globally. Please ask the Dutch competent authority push and supervise the relative manufactures to establish the effective safety management system, and conduct the good prevention and controlling to avoid the contamination of the products exporting to China, and ensure the agricultural products safety. Recently, FAO and WHO published COVID-19 and food safety: guidance for food businesses. This can be the reference for the Dutch side. 

We hoped that both sides enhance the bilateral cooperation to promote the health development of the safety and good quality agricultural products exporting to China.

Het ministerie van LNV gaat er voor bloembollen vooralsnog vanuit dat China genoegen neemt met de lijst van Nederlandse exporteurs die aan China wordt verstrekt in het kader van het bilaterale protocol voor lelie en tulp.   

Mocht u echter in China het verzoek krijgen om van een zending bloembollen de namen van de betreffende producenten aan te leveren dan verzoeken wij u om dat aan het secretariaat kenbaar te maken.
