Van de Canadese PD ontvingen wij onderstaand bericht over een aanpassing in het aanvragen van een import permit:

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is implementing a new approach to issuing import permits for commonly traded plants intended for planting and propagation.

Importers may now apply for permission to import all the plants on a new Horticulture Plant List from all countries with a single entry on their import permit application form. Although documentation accompanying the import must list all species being imported, inspectors will no longer see individual species names for plants on the Horticulture Plant List on import permits. Inspectors will need to verify that the species imported under the Horticulture Plant List group are indeed on the following list:
